EARLIER today, Health Ministry’s CovidNow website indicated 23 deaths for yesterday, bringing total fatality to 32,025.
“Of the current active cases, 134 patients are still in receiving treatment at the intensive care unit (ICU), with 67 of them in need of ventilator support,” the site indicated.
As of yesterday, Malaysia recorded 9,117 infections, bringing the cumulative total 2,904,131.
In a tweet, the Health Ministry also announced than 6,546 patients have been cured, with the total discharged now stands at 2,806,154.
Selangor recorded the highest death toll last month with 15 deaths, followed by Klang Valley (15) and Kuala Lumpur (15). – Feb 6, 2022
